After all, the workshops at the BMW Welt Campus and the BMW Junior Museum offers all this and much more for children, teenagers, adults and families. The workshops at BMW Welt and the BMW Museum are all about mobility and the future. But above all, it's about having fun, taking part and doing it yourself. Our diverse workshop and vacation programs in Munich are a group offer – educationally sound and instructive.

OPEN WORKSHOP. CODING FOR EVERYONE.
Every Sunday 11.00 am to 1.00 pm you can explore the world of programming in a hands-on, fun way without any initial hurdles - the "Move & Code" workshop in the BMW Welt open workshop brings families and interested people closer to coding in an out-of-the-box way. Participants draw codes before acquiring their first programming skills with real little robots and finally receiving their little "coding driving licence". The workshop can be attended without pre-registration at the Campus in the BMW Welt. For groups, booking on a specific date is also possible by arrangement.

ROBOTIC LEARNING — EXCITING PROGRAMMING WORKSHOPS.
Our workshops focus on the topic of “coding.” The children learn the language of robots with innovative kits and can experiment on various future topics.
There are a total of four workshops, which are divided by topic and age group. On May 30th, 2023 children between the ages of 5 and 6 will get a first insight into the world of digitalization and gain their first experience in programming a robot in a fun way.
Children between the ages of 7 and 10 can learn their first coding skills and program small robots using color sensors at our Move & Code workshop on May 31st, 2023 and June 05th, 2023.
At the age of 11 to 13, the children will approach the topic of artificial intelligence in our Tinker & Code workshop on June 09th, 2023. The kids will learn the production processes of a factory of the future and recreate automated processes using a programmable module system and drag-and-drop coding. The workshops are accompanied by pedagogically trained staff.

What does the Junior Program on Campus offer?
In our Future Lab, an experimental area open to the public, the future can be experienced interactively at numerous stations designed by yourself. You and your children can drop by the Future Lab at the BMW Welt Campus and try out the interactive stations without needing to make an appointment. In the two workshops of the Campus at BMW Welt, we offer varied workshop and holiday programs.
What is the Junior Program at BMW Museum?
Children, young people and families discover the mobility of the future at the BMW Museum in Munich interactively. At the same time take a look at more than 100 years of automotive history. Our diverse workshop, family and vacation programs at the BMW Museum and in the Creative Space at the museum are well-balanced, educationally valuable and above all: truly engaging!

The BMW Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday for you and your children from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. On Monday the BMW Museum is closed.
How old must the children be?
Since this is an educational program with the transfer of knowledge, our workshops start from 5 years old. Please note that a birthday event is possible only from 7 years.
What language are the workshops offered in?
Workshops can be held in German or English.
How far in advance do I need to book a workshop?
So that we can facilitate your desired date as well as optimally prepare and conduct the pre-booked workshop, we recommend a booking of at least 8 weeks in advance. For more spontaneous requests, please contact us directly. A spontaneous participation without pre-registration is possible e.g. at our open programming workshop on Thursday afternoons.
